Side quests come along with some frequency, but maybe not as often as you would like. Once you clear a campaign quest, it's gone. Find a weapon that suits your style and skills, then upgrade it extensively. The more cards you have, the easier it is to find and improve great equipment. Try to maximize the opportunities to gain additional cards, even if it means accepting when you're offered the chance to earn a card by watching an advertisement. You'll do best if you strike with Shadow Energy from a moderate distance, far enough away that your attacks are difficult to interrupt.Īs you complete quests and open card packs, you'll gain new equipment. As that meter fills, you can deal more damage than usual to your opponents. It fills most quickly when you rely on a variety of attacks, so don't lock yourself into just a favorite move or two. Sometimes, you can also grab and throw your opponent, which is a great way to escape when you're cornered and turn the tables in an instant.Īs you battle, you'll fill up a blue energy bar (located just below your health bar). Instead of using a single attack repeatedly, mix things up with a variety of punches and kicks (don't just use default punches and kicks, either add directions to deal more damage at a key moment). Instead, bide your time and strike the instant your foe lets down their guard. Although early in the campaign you can survive with a steady diet of punches, you'll eventually need to master proper timing. Do yourself a favor and figure out how to do it well, right from the start. After all, it's right there in the title. You'll be fighting a lot as you play Shadow Fight 3.
